The British Charcuterie Awards, now proudly owned and operated by FoodBev Media, build on the legacy of the British Charcuterie Live Awards and World Charcuterie Awards. The awards celebrate excellence in charcuterie and provide a premier platform for artisans, producers, and brands to gain industry recognition and reach new audiences.

 

Judged by an esteemed panel of industry experts, the awards honour outstanding products, craftsmanship, and innovation in British charcuterie. From time-honoured techniques to bold, modern creations, the competition highlights the skill and passion behind every entry, offering invaluable feedback and exposure to participants.

The British Charcuterie Awards celebrates excellence in charcuterie, recognising outstanding products, producers, and artisans from across the UK. Make sure to carefully read the important information below before entering. Entry closes on the 6th June 2025.

    3. After payment is complete you will have access to our online entry submission form, here you will select which categories you wish to enter.

    Each standard entry costs £160 (+VAT). There is also a reduced rate of 40% (+VAT) for small businesses. Please contact matilda.grove@foodbev.com for more information.

  • Once all entries have been submitted, they will be judged by our expert panel in May. Results will be published following this.

    The winners will be informed via email before official announcements are published.

  • Each standard entry costs £160 (+VAT).  One entry is valid for one submission. One product can be entered into multiple categories. Early entry rates are available until 4th April 2025.

    1 product entered into 3 categories = 3 entries

    3 products entered into 1 category = 3 entries 

    2 products entered into 2 categories = 4 entries

     

    We offer special discounts and offers for multiple product entries as well as product flavours and editions, each charged as separate entries.

  • The date and location of the awards judging will be confirmed with entrants no later than May 2025. Samples will be required to be sent to a UK-based address.

     

    For each entry you are required to provide 10 sample-sized portions.

    A suggested sample-sized portion is 400g or 12 slices.

    Entrants are responsible for all delivery costs, including any applicable duties and VAT. All products must be accompanied by the necessary paperwork, and producers must ensure all forms are accurately completed. FoodBev Awards cannot accept responsibility for any errors made by the entrant.

    • Entrants must be a professional producer or an importer, retailer, wholesaler, or distributor of professionally made charcuterie

    • Products can be entered into multiple relevant categories

    • Entries are accepted by UK companies only, products must be produced in the UK and not require international importing to deliver samples

    • Products must be approved/eligible for human consumption

  • The British Charcuterie Awards celebrate the finest charcuterie producers across the UK, recognising exceptional craftsmanship in the art of meats. Each of the three award tiers has exceptional exposure, enhanced by a personalised digital media pack tailored to showcase your achievement.

    • Gold Award: This award represents the pinnacle of excellence in British charcuterie. Products receiving the Gold Award demonstrate outstanding flavour, texture, and attention to detail, setting a benchmark for the industry. Entries receiving over 90% scoring receive this award.

    • Silver Award: The Silver Award highlights exceptional-quality products distinguished by refined taste and impressive technique, showcasing remarkable skill and craftsmanship. Silver is awarded to entries that receive a 70-89% score.

    • Bronze Award: The Bronze Award recognises excellent products that meet high standards of quality and flavour, showcasing a strong commitment to the craft of charcuterie making. These are awarded to entries receiving 50-69% scoring.

    Winners gain recognition, credibility, and the opportunity to reach a wider audience, making these awards a prestigious achievement for any charcuterie producer. For those not shortlisted in this award (receiving below a 49% score), our expert panel will provide essential feedback from the judging, assisting brands in understanding decisions and possible shortcomings.
